I think you missed the point of republicans refusing to negotiate.
Really~~~ who missed what??? Pelosi is done~~ the party is done with her and your progressive gang of six have been done with her since they “ took” office.
Liberals on Thursday vowed to block a popular infrastructure bill — a central piece of President Biden’s domestic agenda — just hours after the president urged their support and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced plans to bring the bipartisan proposal to the House floor for a v**e the same day.
The move by dozens of members in the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) was hardly a departure of tactics: Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), who chairs the group,
has said for months that liberals would oppose the infrastructure bill until there was a concrete agreement with Democratic centrists on a larger social spending package. That doesn’t sound like the right to me~~~
Still, their decision to hold that line constitutes a remarkable escalation of the high-stakes power struggle between Pelosi and the progressive members of her own caucus, who said they simply can’t back the infrastructure bill without greater assurances that a larger social spending bill will contain their priorities.
Argued from the onset of this bill.https://thehill.com/homenews/house/578962-liberals-defy-pelosi-say-theyll-block-infrastructure-billOr perhaps another perspective on who is stalling what and why.~~Now why hasn’t that bi~partisan bill passed again?
- U.S. congressional Democrats struggledon Tuesday to reach agreement on a massive bill to expand social programs and tackle c*****e c****e, with disagreement on multiple major issues reducing the odds of a quick v**e.
President Joe Biden's party has spent months fighting over what to include in legislation forecast to spend at least $1.5 trillion over 10 years - less than half the initial $3.5 trillion target - with moderates and progressives divided over issues including taxes, prescription drug pricing, family leave, c*****e c****e and immigration.
Keep reading, plenty more to it~~
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/manchin-says-does-not-make-sense-abandon-us-senate-filibuster-2021-10-26/And the real reasons you don’t ask~ Manchin and Sinema have infuriated not only liberals but also a broad range of Democratic officials by d**gging out the talks and repeatedly insisting that ideas supported by virtually everyone else in the party (such as the clean-electricity provisions, paid family leave, and higher personal and corporate tax rates) be removed because of their personal objections. Even after President Joe Biden unveiled the “framework agreement” yesterday morning, Manchin’s and Sinema’s striking refusal to explicitly declare that they would support it forced yet another postponement of the v**e on a bipartisan infrastructure bill that House liberals have said they will not advance without an ironclad commitment from the two on the broader budget package. And lets not forget the “2021House progressives” won't v**e for the infrastructure bill unless the Senate approves $3.5 trillion in other spending. Representatives Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Pramila Jayapal have openly said throughout backed by AOC and the rest… of those incompetents..
What your right about is the Republicans won’t save them from their own… They have also told them v**e it in yourselves..now why don’t you think the dems haven’t rail roaded it in?? What different here???
