If only the size of polar ice caps were the only indicator of c*****e c****e - you'd be right. Unfortunately, that's only part of the picture. Renewed ice caps don't un acidify the oceans, regrow coral reefs, move the jet stream back to where it was, or move the gulf stream back to where it was. Perhaps, in 100 years or so, it will make a difference. In the mean time, further disruptions of w*****r p*****ns can be expected.

Fair enough comment.... However, for me, the issue is NOT about C*****e c****e, this is as constant as anything in this world.....it is the egocentric attitude that mankind is chiefly responsible. Do we have SOME impact ? No doubt, but the degree is vastly overstated, as is the tendency for climate to ultimately find it's equilibrium.
How very narcissistic of the C*****e c****e people to drive home their bogus message. Ever heard of volcanic activity ? Sun Spot activity ? Jeez Louise..... people are so damnably stupid, and prone to gobble up any pseudo science the hucksters purvey.....
This entire movement of concern with regards to ecology and climate is driven by an anti-capitalist agenda......period. Sure, there are some innocents sucked in to the mix, but the drivers behind this ballyhoo are those who seek to diminish economic output by "western" countries.
Where, by the way, is the outrage and demonstrations against Red China, Russia, and other countries who simply suppress the messaging in their own confines ?
There is so much documentation of bogus science leading to statistics that "prove" the C*****e c****e argument.....it is laughable to the trained scientific mind. Unfortunately, funding coupled with a completely ignorant general public leads to mass hysteria and over regulation......
A sham....and for once, I am glad the "powers that be" (economic drivers) will not lay down and take this crap. Yes, they pay lip service to Govt enforced and induced regulations, often serving only to raise the costs of production which are passed along, but in the long run.....the will to survive overcomes regulatory interference.

Weather statistics have only been kept and compiled for the flicker of an eyelid compared to the age of this planet.
Weather is dynamic. It is never in perfect balance any more than your body's chemistry. Always oscillating, ever changing. Cooler climates become warmer, warm climates cool. Ocean currents moving, chemistry and ph never static.
If we look at change over a short period, say 200--300 years we see spikes and valleys. If we look at a longer time scale, say 100,000--300,000 years (according to geological record) we see bumps and dips. If we use an even longer scale, say 100,000,000--300,000,000 years, we see an even flatter line. C*****e c****e is reletive and how it is viewed is totally related to the time frame.
The majority of world scientists have been consistantly saying that the short term change in w*****r p*****ns is quute normal and will continue.
Gore made his fortune by taking a myopic look at weather and paying some selected scientists to see it his way. There have been recent articles printed showing that the hole in the ozone layer is closing.
It is one thing to be duped for a time by Gore and his cronies. With all of the data now being published that refutes Gore's hypothesis, it is quite a different matter to continue beating a dead horse.
