While people suffer he has more important things to do than his job.

They just had a baby. He’s legally on leave.
Is there nobody else on the planet that can do this job ? This is not the moral dilemma you’re trying to paint it as.
I’m happy for them , why aren’t you ?

“They just had a baby.” | They didn’t have a baby. They adopted.

“He’s legally on leave.” | TWO months paid leave and counting.

“Is there nobody else on the planet that can do this job?” | I’m sure there are many. The point is, it’s his job and he’s not doing it. So, let’s replace him with someone willing to actually work and accept the responsibilities of the position.

“This is not the moral dilemma you’re trying to paint it as.” | Moral dilemma? Foolish choice of words. At the least, learn the meaning of the words you choose. Dilemma: a situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives, especially equally undesirable ones.

I'm happy they have their baby. But could of left someone in charge to pick up the slack while he's gone, oh yeah I forgot, he doesn't know WTF he's doing, maybe we're better off with him gone!

Yes, in DC it isn't necessarily a bad thing when a Bureaucrat doesn't show up for work. In his case what did he DO for the public when he was there? That means action, not phony position.

We’re you not implying the moral dilemma of not having Peter in his seat because he was home with his adopted child as you so viciously pointed out, was somehow
Causing the shipping problems facing us today. ? And if perhaps, he was in his seat where you think he should be , which doesn’t really matter in your life,
He would be able to magically uncreate the shipping excesses from China we so desperately need? With Black Friday around the corner from Christmas .
We seriously need all that junk ,or , the wrapping paper industry will absolutely be next to go down the tubes.

In addition to learning the meaning of words you should also work on your comprehension sk**ls. I’m amazed at how incoherent your responses are.

He sure to point that “adopted” moniker every chance you get, that way ,whoever you’re talking to will know what a lame brained halfwit looks like.

Is it not a fact? Did they adopt the children or not? WTH is your problem? It’s a simple factual statement with nothing implied. Stop projecting your vile attitude into what others write.

Canada has an 18 Month Maternity Leave. The 18-month maternity leave/ parental leave is called the extended parental benefits. The extended parental benefits pay out 33% of your average weekly insurable earnings, up to the same maximum amount, for a maximum duration of 61 weeks. For 2021, this maximum amount is $53,100 as well.

Why can't we do this, are they better than us in allowing time for a new parent to be with their child, being adopted or not is insignificant. We also just got through a p******c with everyone working from home, I am sure Pete is still connected.

How do you say he doesn't know what he's doing, he's a very astute and fair individual. Or is it you just want to throw dirt because he's not from your party line?

He’s the U.S. T***sportation Secretary. He’s not the Canadian T***sportation Secretary.

I simply pointed to the fact that the children are adopted. They didn’t “have” a child together as stated in the post.

Because he is "celebrating" while others suffer. You would have a different approach if it was a Trump.employee. by the way, they did not have a baby.
