What Biden Will Do If Gas Prices Continue To Go Up...Hint, Obama Did It

Democrats, unlike republicans will not put up with artificially rising gas prices...and artificially is used in the context of the fact that world oil prices are low, and US oil companies see record breaking high profits as they increase prices. Here's the fact of the matter, if they "needed" to raise prices it would be because they were going under.

Obama made a public statement that if oil companies refused to lower prices he would do it for them, by declaring a national emergency and reducing prices to $2.50 a gallon...oil companies chose not to call him on that and prices came down.

Now if oil companies want to create their own crisis they can keep doing this, the last time they screwed with prices they created a rush to higher gas mileage and hybrid and electric cars...and once people start going there the oil industry loses millions of gallons a day in sales they will never get back. Americans do a whole lot of discretionary driving, and part of people getting back to their lives has to do with recreational activities that take gasoline.

Here's another hint about where we are going, the push Ford is putting on electric trucks...and the competition

That is quite a ridiculous analysis of high gasoline prices. Liberals have no clue about free markets and the consequences of their bad decisions. Donald J. Trump understood that if you increase supply, prices naturally come down. I***t Biden has decreased US supply relative to demand and then begged Saudi Arabia to bail his sorry butt out with increased production.

Everything Biden does, every decision he makes shows that he and his puppet masters are clueless about the real world.

The US sells oil, we do not use more than we produce, you are being ridiculous

Right wingers seem to have no ability or critical thinking sk**ls about the dynamics of the oil industry raising gas prices...you offer up all the reasons that are truly i***tic if not fully moronic that are shot down with one logic...
...OPEC prices go up so the industry is forced to respond with higher prices
...production is higher than it's ever been, but every little obstacle to the oil industry is seen as an excuse, even though profits are through the roof
...so a pipeline gets delayed? That is no reason to raise prices, it changes nothing in terms of production or profits

As the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies came to an agreement on a record cut in oil production, U.S. President Donald Trump may have struck his “biggest and most complex deal,” according to oil expert Dan Yergin.
Commenting on the deal that has been struck by OPEC+, Yergin said it has “bought time” and avoided a “disaster” for the oil industry.

Once again you are totally clueless about how things in the real world function. When we export oil and natural gas we earn badly needed foreign exchange. Production, production, production is all good. Prices for oil and gas are set globally. Oil and gas flow to where they can get the best price.

It is how markets work. You and Joe are walking around and chewing gum. The only thing more scary is Joe thinking he knows what he is doing when setting energy policy.
