Why is this not headlined everywhere?

Keeping track of C****-** on Worldometer and Johns Hopkins I notice that, for the last 10 days, NY has been averaging 40 new deaths per day, California 100 and Texas around 200 while Ron DeSantis' Florida has been averaging 5. Let me spell that out so you understand. Florida has been averaging 5 (five) new deaths per day for the last 10 days. Why does no one appear to be reporting this?

It's a paraphrase, but true nonetheless: The narrative justifies the silence.

In three Northwest Florida counties, more than 150 people died with C****-** in the past seven days, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Testing, total cases and hospitalizations are all going down but deaths are rising at an alarming rate. According to the CDC, in Es**mbia County, 85 people died in the past seven days. That number is about double what it was the previous week. Hospitalizations are at 115 which is down from nearly 400 in August. https://www.wkrg.com/northwest-florida/c****-**-deaths-skyrocket-as-hospitalizations-go-down-in-northwest-florida/

The data was last updated Oct. 4.
Florida ----- Deaths per 100,000: 1.14 Daily average deaths: 245.7

Florida only reports C****-** data once per week via their C****-** Weekly Situation Report, and does not provide a daily back-distribution of Case or Death data. As of June 4, the state no longer reports non-resident v******tions, c****av***s cases and fatalities.

I'll refer you here. https://www.worldometers.info/c****av***s/country/us/ For some reason there is nothing reported for today or yesterday but every day for the past 10 days there has been, and the daily new deaths averaged around a half dozen. Checking several other sources, it appears there is a problem with this Worldometer site's main page Florida information and your figures are correct. So, the answer to my question is Florida HAS NOT had an astronomically low new daily death rate but has had a rate similar to Texas. Sorry about that.

No problem. I checked out Worldometer as well, but also looked at other sites. I wish it was only 5 per day. Thanks.
