OMG I just spent some time watching the hearings with the 2 generals and the secretary of defense. What a cluster you know what of deflection, obfuscation and outright BS. And how nice that these scumbags were given 2 weeks to get their stories straight, and didn't turn in their responses until 1030 last night. AND, as usual, will likely get away with it. I can't even look at it anymore😠

And you know the bottom line was that trump had given orders to be out of Afghanistan by the 15th right after he lost the e******n...and how well would that have played out if he hadn't been talked out of that?

Trumps plan was contingent on the Taliban meeting expectations or face strikes from the US military. He also affirmed US air support for the Afghan army. Bagram air field would have remained a US military base and we would have continued a force of 2500. Biden failed to honor the conditions Trump negotiated, pulled the military out before removing all civilians first then our hardware next. After that is done, then you remove your troops.
