Thank you, for the information.

But I hardly perceive its relevance. I prefer honest men to men who agree with me. If a man doesn't believe in God, why should he ask for God's help?
As long as saying, "So help me God." is not disallowed, I see no problem

I served with people who were t*****rs to their oaths, so I do not see the point in their having used the word "God" in the first place.
A sense of self-duty is necessary for any oath to hold any weight. I can appreciate the meaning of the word, while others will not adhere to the principles it should instill no matter if it is included or not.

The armed forces of our country, are letting down the values associated with their legitimacy by eliminating God from the oath; but why should this matter to them? It is a relative in the eyes of the "New World Order".

We who know through the now-becoming-obvious, probability of the bible's being correct, are not surprised, even though we may feel a sense of outrage. This is why America is failing: it is re-defining itself, to appease the whims of a group or groups of self-centered fools.
Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

In the end; God will be the prevalent factor. believers, rest easy: the non-believers are setting themselves up for THE big fall!
