The top 10% of the earners pay 70% of the Federal expenditures. Please tell me what someone’s fair share is.

Ok…… and many get earned income credit (a check for paying no tax)

Yep. Many basically get paid for having kids. They pay no federal taxes But receive the highest percentage of government benefits.

Are you conflating income tax with corporate tax???
I don't think anyone is complaining that Zuckerberg isn't paying income tax...But the corporate taxes he pays (when he pays them) are laughable...

Does it matter? What I stated was true. Besides Income tax, they pay half their employees Social Security. Excise taxes, property taxes, and payroll taxes are paid also. I'm not defending the tax system. I don't blame them for taking advantage of the code. We'd be better off with a flat fair tax. I'm just pointing out that they pay even when they skip having to pay a corporate tax. The facts remain. The wealthy pay the lions share of Federal Taxes, which pay for peoples benefits. I noticed no one has stated what someone's fair share is.

I like the idea that if you are on any gubmint dole, you don't get to v**e......or maybe everybody gets 1 v**e for being a citizen plus one extra v**e for every $10K paid in Federal Income Tax.

According to the new definition of "fair", a fair share would be 100% from the Serfs, and 0% (or same as now),
