That excuse only works on morons. Trump told the Taliban there would be severe repercussions and air strikes if the protocols Trump put down weren’t followed to the letter. Remember, under Trump we dropped the biggest non-nuclear bomb in our arsenal in Afghanistan. Veterans that were in country have told me the Taliban are absolutely terrified of that bomb and Trump.
