If you read the bill, you would know that the only immediate reward is a green card for a very specific category of undocumented immigrants, like the Dreamers who came here as babies through no fault of their own and have lived here all their lives. This resolves the whole DACA issue. (I suppose I should tell you that holding a green card does not entitle you to a v**e).

If you read the bill, you would would also know that the green card is just the first step in a path to citizenship that by the terms of the law itself is no less than eight years.
