After the owner of a diner in Florida told supporters of President Biden, who they described as “worthless and inept,” to eat somewhere else, they reportedly ran out of food as people flocked to frequent the establishment.
The New York Post reveals how Angie Ugarte, the owner of DeBary Diner, posted a sign in the winter recently that told diners who stand behind the “corrupt administration currently inhabiting the White House that is complicit in the death of our servicemen and women in Afghanistan” that they should take their business “elsewhere.”
The sign was made after it was revealed that 13 American military personnel died in a terrorist attack outside of Kabul’s international airport as the U.S. military was forced to return to Afghanistan and scramble to rescue American citizens abandoned by President Joe Biden. Those military personnel became a target for ISIS-K suicide bombers.
Speaking to a local Florida news outlet, Ugarte said that she felt it was the only thing she could do.
“I was just angry,” she said, describing how she felt for the wives and mothers who were set to receive a knock on the door from the authorities to tell them that their loved ones had been k**led.
She added that if someone really stands behind what has allowed this chaos to happen, which she said was “unnecessary,” then she doesn’t want to be associated with that person in any way and certainly doesn’t want their business.
She revealed how she quickly ran out of food and was forced to close as customers flocked to her diner. She also said that some people have come to her door, seen the sign and left, and others have come into the kitchen as she was cooking to tell her that they love her sign.
