I hope you are wrong. Back when Christ walked the earth to teach us love and personal responsibility to look after our neighbor, 75% of the world was in s***ery being looked after by the government.

Hip Hip Hurray,
Solzhenitsyn wrote in his book: "From Under the Rubble" a forecast when the top-heavy Kremlin would collapse, and then prophesized the American bureaucracy would also collapse.

After the Soviet collapse, the newly elected president, Boris Yeltsin held a yard sale to privatize c*******m, by auctioning off all the government bureaucracies. Once Biden bankrupts us completely, some $30 trillion national debt, another $200-$600 trillion in unfunded FICA liabilities, no North American Union is going to be saddled with our debt. The USA will have an auction of unfathomable riches.

Nothing would be more satisfying than to see the Deep State bureaucrats PRIVATIZED. The highest paid public employee is Dr. F***i (not even our president) and every SS check seniors receive is raided to pay down Medicare, bankrupt even after workers' salary contributes 15% of a lifetime of wages.

How can one opt out of Medicare while still collecting Social Security? Become an ex-patriot and move to Tera del Fuego or Antarctica?

If one switches over to State Medicaid (welfare), every extra penny you make towards self-betterment will be seized by the State as obligatory reimbursement, a disincentive to get off welfare. America will be divided into ghettos and warehoused on the government plantation in a "New Great Society."
Hip Hip Hurray, br Solzhenitsyn wrote in his book... (show quote)

Your current is a load of bull shxt. I'm retired, I don't pay Medicare & I haven't had to become an "ex-patriot". Just a load of bull. Did you get paid to write this comment, if so, youth were over paid.

Tiptop, I suspect you have a good solid middle class income. And I wish you all the happiness and success in life.

When one makes close to minimum wage their entire working life, still making their 40 points to collect Social Security, their retirement contributions are weighed as "insufficient" to deserve a full SS benefit, and hence, the bankrupt Medicare siphons off one's SS check $146 (+) every month.

Most of COLA vanishes for these working poor, swallowed up by higher and higher siphoning into Medicare, but law mandates Medicare cannot siphon off more than our SS base payout. The end result is that the working poor who need COLA the most get the least.

Our Entitlements are based an a pay-as-you-go system, there is no "locked box" nor is FICA invested in the banks, stock market or annuities to enhance the growth of our economy, but spent instantly by Congress just like income tax revenue, totally fritted away into the wind. Cost of Living increases are a sublime tool for economic segregation.

Couple this with a progressive tax, the more you make, the more the government takes, makes it impossible to compete with the entrenched big boys. The rungs on the ladder of success are spaced higher and higher apart toward the top. This is why we need a flat tax. The government does not redistribute wealth, it consumes wealth and grows fatter in weight and girth like Garfield the Cat.

Add to the struggle to get ahead, our counterfeiting Federal Reserve Bank's systematically devaluing the currency and life savings, our socialist Congress impedes the advancement of the little guy every which-way it can. Socialists have no qualms about spending other people's money. Socialists and Democrats need a base of destitution and dependency.

Capitalism was designed for the poor to work their way up and out of poverty, not be housed on a government plantation. Half the country rents right now, not owning property. This is dangerous sign for public freedom and security. When men and government bash in the heads of their children to enforce subjugation and dependence, the country is due to collapse.
