We celebrate Labor Day across the country to recognize the achievements of American workers and the contributions they made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country. We all have good reasons to be especially proud of the work we do every day. You deserve a day off and should take the time to enjoy this holiday weekend.
Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer. Highways and recreation areas will be busy as people take advantage of the remaining good weather. Boating, swimming, motorcycle riding, grilling, camping and hiking are some of the recreational activities that we will enjoy during this long weekend. Like anything else, each of these activities has its risks. Know the risks and what to do to avoid them. Remember you are the last line of defense against an accident at home and at play. Please be smart, be safe, and look out for each other.
I hope you enjoy a fun, relaxing, safe holiday with Family and friends.
God bless each and everyone of you and your loved ones!

And happy Labor day to you One Patriot. Although I really don't quite understand. Yesterday it was May 1st
and the beginning of Summer. Today it's Labor day. How did that happen?

Unfortunately, one of the things I’ve noticed in life is the older you get, the faster it go’s.
