There is no reason. The judge (shapiro) was trying to do a favor for the law firm of the father (Law Firm of Jeffrey Levin) IMO. This was a child support matter (dad owed mom). The hearing was about child support. This crooked crap happens ALL the time in Illinois, most especially Cook County. But to the extent that the judge actually breaks the law? Not as often. I'm kind of excited because I'm local, and know people, and can take part in getting rid of the POS and putting this travesty right. Maybe this case will also be the impetus to FINALLY open the corrupt can of worms that is the Cook County judicial system, and most particularly their domestic relations division. I've seen so much of this kind of illegal crap done by Cook County judges over the past 20 years it will be a great pleasure😠

The case was NOT about visitation. Or v******tion. Or the safety of the child. The dad owed the mom child support. The is par for the course in Cook County. AND the dad's attorneys, LO of Jeffrey Levin, has clout in the domestic relations division.

I will certainly post updated info. Sadly, this kind of crap is SOP for Cook County, people generally just don't hear about it. And judges don't usually cross the line into illegal, though it has happened before, usually with no consequences to the judge.
