So trump ran his yap and announced he was getting out of Afghanistan, which is what everyone wanted. Too bad the orange clown and his sock puppet pompeo had no plans to do anything.

Consider this, the orange buffoon is now yapping that he would have all equipment removed from A-stan, Bust as of December 2020, not a single piece of equipment had been removed. A detail the two lying buffoons must have overlooked in their 5/31/21 timeline

More evidence of the trump failures. When he took office, there were 15,000 troops in country. By the end of 2020, there were only 2500. And nobody from the trump lying cabal will even mention how many of the 2500 were actual 'combat troops'. And even a junior officer knows that the ration of support troops to combat troops ranges from 5-1 to 7-1. So in reality, those 2500 troops on the ground could do very little in an emergency.

Of course there were the air assets, but contractors were providing the maintenance

So for all of the yapping by the rightwing media types, the facts are trump screwed up and dumped the mess on President Biden.

We were there in 12. We were there for support, teaching and building a school. I've talked with Afghan men and they only want the same thing that I've talked to men on missions over this piece of rock. A better life for their children. Fourth: The ration? Ration is how many rounds you need for a mission. Ration is how much chow you get in the chow hall. Ratio, is the correct term. Since you seem to understand so much about ratio. Do you know the ratio of how US troops fight an enemy? Is 5 to one, 3 to one? And why does US troops use that ratio?
