Looks like it ... when cnn is given the green light to publicly question slojo's competence.

Yep. Honestly, I'm surprised they kept him this long. Just long enough to be able to blame him for the massive disaster of their first almost 7 months.

Well, and I have no doubt jill was promised a certain amount of time as flotus in return for her part in all of it. She may not be ready to give up yet. That's probably what's been going on these last few days--negotiations for slojo and jill stepping down. We'll see.

Yep. I don't see Harris/Pelosi as much of an improvement

I don't believe Pelosi automatically gets the VP job if Kacklin' Kammie moves into the presidency. I believe one would be appointed by Kacklin' Kammie and then would require a 2/3 majority of Congress for approval. Pelosi would NEVER get that kind of majority approval. It could be a promise was already made back during the primary. Remember when everyone stepped aside for joe? I would not be surprised if it was someone like mayor pete or klobuchar.

I know! But there are no good choices that I can think of. I'm just speculating that there were obvious signs slojo wasn't gonna get through an entire term and everyone had to be aware of it. The other candidates didn't step aside without some kind of offer of reward in the future for doing so, and that's a pretty big carrot. The saving grace is that 2/3 majority of Congress thing. They'd play hell trying to get that with anyone like pelosi or bernie.

Perhaps that's why theres so much weird crap inserted into these 2 "infrastructure" bills. They're trying to insert HR1 (v****g being federalized) and I heard a whisper they were trying to do away with the filibuster and make all congressional v****g straight majority as another part. God help us if true😳😳😳

They're trying to do as much as they can as fast as they can for sure. Not sure they can do away with the filibuster without Manchin, and he ... so far ... is not on board with that. Also, I believe if their HR1 does pass by some miracle for them, it will not survive a challenge in the courts. Fingers crossed anyway. But, unfortunately, there is a lot they CAN do. And they're not wasting any time. I would not expect anything at all to change if slojo steps down and kammie takes over, cuz it's the same group that will be running the show behind the scenes.
