Medical personal in a clinical environment are trained in fitting them to their faces. The room the surgery is being performed in is pressurized with oxygen. There is much more, but I hope you get the point.
The general idea of the face diaper is to block droplets from escaping the wearer's mouth and nose. Those droplets are all over the masker's hands,clothes and feet. Visit the produce department lately? Touch a door-knob, or guard-rail ? C****a has been around since 1965. Some strains cause the common cold . Docs wear masks in surgery to protect Themselves…. From blood spatters!!!!
And they don’t want to accidentally spit on an open wound! Nothing to do with any v***s which is small enough to get thru cloth. Got it!!!
