Upstate New York. Near the Finger Lakes (Lake Canandaigua). There are waterfalls everywhere. There's a state park called Letchworth State Park (they call it the "Grand Canyon of the East" here). There are the upper falls, middle falls and lower falls...all beautiful and all in one park...

There are a lot of beautiful State Parks all over NY. And from Monday to Friday (except for holidays) entry into them is free for Seniors.

The State Parks along Lakes Ontario and Erie are really nice with beaches and boat tours. Actually, that's true for all the Great Lakes...not just those two in NY...but I've only been to the ones in NY
