And, if they were being paid not to work, why weren't they paying their rent? Because the government said they didn't have to? That's a pretty poor excuse! On the other hand, if they've taken the experimental jab and cannot work because of severe side-effects, what then? What if SSI rejects their claim?
I was badly injured in an accident and applied for disability. It took me three years, during which time I was unable to work before I got it. I watched my savings dwindle to nothing. When I finally received disability, some people acted like I was worthless. Newsflash... NO ONE deliberately gives up a high paying job because they would rather not work and take a 75%- 80% pay cut.
