Yes, but you dont lose sense of smell and taste with flu.....Like I said I had flu before and this time it did not feel like a flu

In 2018 I lost my sense of taste and smell and I was not sick…. I am sad you were so sick but there are many reasons for symptoms. C***D is bad for some people just like every other disease. Some beat it some do not. Happy that you beat it!!!

This table shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving c****av***s disease 2019
(C****-**). For 6% of the deaths, C****-** was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to C****-**, on
average, there were 2.9 additional conditions or causes per death. The number of deaths with each condition or cause is shown for all deaths and
by age groups. Values in the table represent number of deaths that mention the condition listed and 94% of deaths mention more than one
condition. As such, the rows should not be summed. Additional notes are listed at the end of the table.

C***d CAUSES pneumonia, which is a condition not a disease.

C****-** does not "cause" v***l pneumonia, it does appear to increase susceptibility to v***l pneumonia.

Where is that separate v***s, that causes the pneumonia, coming from?

Do we actually have two separate v***l p******cs, simultaneously?

A one-two punch, so to speak? One or the other stuns, but both together floors?

That could explain a lot.

Per Mr Google…. 1.5million emergency room visits with a primary diagnosis of pneumonia in 2018…. And that was with 68% of over 65 getting the v*****e….. ummmm

It is the pneumonia which k**ls the majority of hospitalized patients! People die of suffocation, lungs fill up with fluid and mucous.

I would have to wonder about the percentage of older people who had been diagnosed with pneumonia who have smokers over a significant part of their lives and also the percentage of people who used illegal drugs for a large part of their lives, and whether these factors were included or just ignored to get the C***d numbers up so that the rise could cause panick in the general population.
As an aside, several years ago I saw a study about house dogs in homes where people were smokers and the rate of early death of these dogs as compared to homes where no one smoked or did drugs. Several friends of mine who saw this study and breed dogs have decided that they would not sell puppies into homes where there were smokers.

Just a thought----

My point was that even with a real vac for pneumonia people get sick. There are always contributing factors…. And some have good genes , some not so much! I don’t know your age but seems like kids are sicker now with Vacs for most childhood illnesses. No safe in life! Just some thoughts.

Because I am doing the work that I do, I have no desire to "retire" I still teach one dog obedience class every spring to help people l;earn how to train the dog that they got as a "Christmas present" And NPP and I are still "grand parents" and friends to the boys we have helped over the years as well as their children and sometimes grand parents. To stop doing when we love to do would be a death sentence to either NPP or me.

I may be old but I am too pigheaded to stop doing what I know works for me. Voice of reason? Thank you, most people just say I am too stubborn to give up living!!
