The right is calling out for investigating what Pelosi's part in inadequate capital security, and quite frankly even a moron could figure out that if she interfered with or obstructed anything to do with capital security it will be there front and center...
...meanwhile so will every single call and order made from the bottom up and the top down...by the time this is done we will know from days and weeks in advance what took place in terms of getting less security and having reserve police and national guard stand down as opposed to being crisis ready.
Trump saw the storming of the capital and did not want "his" loyal supporters attacked and arrested, the bottom line is that the orders for backup were to come from him and those did not come.
We will have a clear picture of every call made directly to the white house and every associated pentagon and security entity, who made calls and what were they asking for, who took them and who they called or did not act upon.
By the time this is done we will have a clear understanding of what trump didn't do as a dereliction of his duties as president because there were his people attacking the capital in order to stop the formal act of installing the new president.

You are going to see hearings done in real time, whoever held back police support will be outed, and unlike trump administration investigations, the DOJ will not be there to run interference for trump people this time around, the DOJ formally spelled out that there will be no executive privilege exerted to hide damning testimony behind. The DOJ will be there in support of the House commission, not to obstruct it.
This is a different type of house investigation than we have had to watch the last decade or more that have been about obstruction and B******i style witch hunts, this one can do it's job without interference from both the white house and DOJ

Time will tell how this unfolds. Hopefully it is investigation but the first day says otherwise. I feel for the four witnesses and what they experienced but it seemed that they were chosen to present a certain limited perspective to elicit a predetermined emotional response.
One witness actually said that there were 9000 terrorists, that's right 9000 terrorists, storming the capital that was protected by 175 police officers. The term terrorists was used over and over to push the narrative.
Another police officer said that people in the crowd helped him back to the tunnel where the other police were, but, that point was skimmed over and never repeated by the media because, presumably, it went against the narrative. I guess there were some pretty nice "terrorists" mixed in there.
The democrat opening statement stated that nine people died. That is just an outright lie and misrepresentation of facts.
All the videos shown seemed to be selected to paint a particular extreme narrative. None represent the entire picture of what actually happened.
If this is a different type of investigation in search of t***h as you say then it is a very poor start to that end.

My guess is that current Biden Intelligence and pentagon people that worked under trump will come under fire for not standing up to trump.

That narrative needed to start the proceedings because of the incessant right narrative that this was a peaceful event, so much love...it was terrorism, it was organized to stop the proceedings. Had some of the people seen their agendas play out there would have been hostages of not deaths. There were people carrying large numbers of zip cuffs, you think those gallows that had been put up for Pence would have not been used had they got their hands on him?
The definition of terrorism was spelled out, and this was terrorism, as is threats against every republican that goes against trump is currently experiencing.

Are you f...img kidding me or is your memory that bad. Do you remember Republicans and Press being kept out of secret Dem hearings where so called "witnesses" were being "interviewed". People who in the end, could not say with any first hand knowledge that Trump did what he was accused of.
