We don't need to ask now. They openly brag about being q***r. And since our tax $$ already pays for their surgeries and hormones in prison, I suppose we'll have to for the military now

Sometimes they will surprise you. I served with a guy who was q***r and no one ever knew it. He never even admitted it until years after we were discharged I was talking to him and he owned up to it. He fooled everybody.

The level of mindless homophobia you display is the result of two things. Either the person expressing these views was buggered as a child by a trusted clergy member, scout leader or family member of the same sex then demonize gay people by falsely concluding their molestation by a child molester was by a gay person. The second cause is that the person exhibiting this homophobia is themself gay and lives a miserable closeted existence both angry and envious of gay people who are true to themselves living openly.

I've had the same experience, albeit non-military related. That was back in the day when people kept their sexual orientation, religion and politics below the surface. We got along just fine back then.
