I'm sure anyone in this country would be shocked and dismayed, if someone were to come to their house and arrest them for aiding and abetting the enemy. They would deny the charges and claim that they were loyal and patriotic Americans. Yet, these same people are doing exactly that, by the constant, public, ridicule and criticism of the President and the Government as a whole.

No one will trust a national leader, who's country isn't behind them and who's government constantly works to undermine them. That's just common sense. Americans may be amused and entertained by all the political chicanery, but it damages our ability to deal effectively with the international community. Without the co-operation and assistance of those people, America isn't safe.

No one seems capable of thinking these things when they start with the criticism and the members of Congress are the worst offenders. The very best defense our enemies have - is us. They needn't worry about a cohesive, determined and capable America coming after them. They get CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX and all the rest and all they see is a country at war with itself. A country in that much disarray isn't a threat to them.

Every time they see a poll showing the countries disapproval of the Presidents foreign policies - they win. Every time they see another Congress person openly criticizing the President - they win. Every time they see Congress persons criticizing each other - they win. Every time they see a political ad - they win. Every time another person opens their mouths to criticize everything the government does - our enemies win again.

In WWII a saying went around, " loose lips sinks ships". Now it should be, " loose lips lose wars ". I'm suggesting that people consider what they say and how it will aid the enemy and if they aren't sure - just shut up.

maybe the people in washington who are destroying this country should do the jobs they were elected to do instead of worrying about their parties maybe there wouldn't be so much dissent in this country.It's only the people voicing their disapproval.And they have a right to do that!

A citizen has a fundamental duty to criticize any mistake made by an administration, no matter how good it is.

FDR was a great President but he made mistakes. In 1936 he tried to balance the budget instead of starting work on the Interstate Highway System or other infrastructure that would have ended 12% unemployment and made us more capable of fighting WW II.

Balancing the budget is exactly the opposite of ending unemployment. Any citizen who does not condemn austerity during a recession is failing his duty to criticize.

I am also pretty certain that if our Federal Gov't started to enforce the laws of this land, if they were to stop arming the very same people we are now calling our enemies we wouldn't be so divided. Don't be too dismayed at the direction of this country, it is our own Federal Gov't, especially this Administration that has brought the Muslim Brotherhood into OUR White House and placed them in key positions. You see, True Patriots notice, we notice that this Administration is in way over it's head, we see that our President promises one thing and consistently does another. We see them running guns in Libya, we see the DOJ sending arms to the cartels in Mexico, we see the Open Border and the Fed's suing the States keeping them from enforcing Federal Law because the Feds Refuse. We see the Race Baiting from Eric Holder and Barack Obama, We seen how he handles a trillion $ "Stimulas" by giving millions to his supporters in defunct loans (Solindra,etc..) We seen how he touted the Auto Industry bailout which amounted to the general public getting the shaft and the Union Pensions being shored up (My stock $5k was turned into toilet paper from GM) We seen how ObamaCare was crammed down our throats along with a pack of lies that does nothing but steal from those that work and give to those that don't. The ranks of the Unemployed swell, the "entitlement ranks swell. That does NOT happen in a recovery! We have seen enough corruption and LIES coming from this Administration to last a lifetime! Being complacent will not change anything, to be a true Patriot we MUST protest, we MUST continue to demand accountability out of the highest office of the land. Your call for unity falls on deaf ears until the Master Obstructionist Harry Reid starts to allow v**es in the Senate of bills passed by the House of Representatives! All in all, Passivity will change nothing, so you can stick your head in the sand all you want, we Patriots will continue to scream from the highest mountain to regain this country's once Great Stature. There was a time when the country could heal these wounds, but unless we stop the foolish spending of our Grandchildren's earnings, we will surely go the way of Rome.

I think we think along the same lines. I have no say, hence my government behaves any way it wishes, usually incompetently. IF I had any type of input, WHICH I DO NOT, my government would be very, VERY different and wouldn't need to be protected from criticism. Our government causes the troubles, then soldiers have to die for their mistakes, then our government covers up what actually happened, lies to the public, then begs for money to run their next campaign. And I'm going to yell every single time I think the government I support with hard earned dollars, has overstepped its bounds and/or wasted tax payer dollars frivolously. If this hurts foreign affairs, then the GOVERNMENT had best get its act together because I will NOT EVER ACCEPT the "blame" for its poor accounting, now should ANY AMERICAN. Enemies be d****. If they rely on the American public for information, they should be easy to defeat because American information is woefully missing or woefully wrong. Unfortunately, leadership is woefully inept, incompetent, absent, missing, lost.

However, I love my country and want to see it free as before and will do anything I can to keep it free. You on the other hand want to take away the one thing that makes this country what it is, our freedom of speech. You would have me shut up just because you don't like the way I talk. FDR was a great President????? You have got to be kidding me, right???? He d**gged out the depression and it would have gone on and on if it had not been for WWII. That is what brought us out of the depression, not your fantastic FDR. He did more to hurt this nation then anyone else with the exception of Wilson. He was SO fantastic that they passed the 22nd amendment because of him.

By the way, it was Ike that started the Interstate System, not FDR. Ike saw what the Germans had done when he entered Germany and was impressed to the point that he started that same system here after he was elected President. Just look at most of the IS signs that say "The Eisenhower Interstate System" or something to that effect.
