The CDC announced that a recent reported big spike in deaths following C***D v******tions was a mistake. The number suddenly jumped from about 6,000 to over 12,000. A CDC spokeswoman said that someone doing an update on a passive reporting system they run with the FDA must’ve made a mistake, which was noticed after a few days, and they’re “working it out.”

Two points worth noting:
1. Deaths in the period after receiving the v*****e do not necessarily mean the v*****e caused the deaths.
2. Making dumb mistakes that big that you can’t even explain does not help inspire public confidence in the CDC.
