I give up. Just keep blindly trusting those who are telling you what to do. And you complain about trump supporters. Lol

And stop pretending you care more about others lives. That is pure propaganda talking. Most people get it first and foremost for themselves not others.

At least my blind faith, as you call it, hasn't k**led millions of people world wide, your opinion has.
You dam right I got it for myself, I've had the v***s and do not want it again, protecting other is a benefit I won't ignore either. This is like Smallpox we need to get enough v******ted to reach herd immunity, but I'm waisting my time talking to people like you.

Hmmm....I work for the government too, and until this week, masks were required in all Federal Government buildings. Sounds to me like a management problem where she works. If what you say is even true.
Are y'all working on suing this guy who coughed 'on' her without a mask while she was wearing one, thus causing y'all all of this difficulty?
I mean, shouldn't the maskless coughfer be financially responsible?

Very good points. I will gently and softly point out that he ignored MY questions about his and his wife's risky behavior. I wonder if he will ignore yours as well?

Your post didn't deserve an answer, it was stupid, You don't know anything about me or my wife or what we did. Now ask another stupid question.

It was, indeed, pretty stupid, and I do not blame you for not answering. However, I think I made my point pretty well. YOUR post was focused on your outrage at people not doing what you believe is right, and you accused US of being self righteous. And yet it turns out that YOU made your own choices, and most certainly did not do EVERYTHING possible to protect yourself and your family from infection. You made choices that did not turn out the way you wanted.....just like the rest of us are evaluating risks and making the choices we feel is best for OUR families. Being that YOU do not know anything about US or OUR families, your prior posts rings the bell for self righteousness, hypocrisy, and sanctimoniousness.
So, once again, have a look in that mirror before blaming others for your misfortune.

It's not about what I think is right, it's about what the experts in p******cs say is right. I could care less if you listen to what I have to say but when almost the whole of science agrees what is best people should trust that and do the things to keep everyone safe. It's like wearing a mask when the experts tell you wearing a mask helps lower the number of cases well it just don't make sense to do the easy things like that to help keep people safe but hay, I'm wasting my time trying to convince the Right to do the things that will help others.

My opinion has k**led millions of people worldwide? What a profoundly ignorant statement

This isn’t like smallpox. Its also a huge cash cow for big pharmas who control more than you realize. But hey, disregard the fact that there are cheap effective treatments and run with the herd because its easier.

Not at all, Michael. And I would agree with you except for one thing: Your statement that "almost the whole of science agrees" is flat out wrong. This has been gone over repeatedly, so without spending the time to provide links, there are a great many medical experts that do NOT agree, including a number of them at the CDC and in other government fields. So some individual choices are part of the equation. In addition, there is vast evidence (not just conspiracy theories) that the v*****es are not all they are cracked up to be. So again, individual choice comes into play. Who do you want to believe? If science tells us a fact is true, then we can count on it. Polio v*****e works. Small pox v*****e works. These are proven. A "consensus" of opinions that pick-a-subject is "probably" true is like playing russian roulette. There was a "consensus" that the Earth was flat. There was a "consensus" that sailing East from Europe would take ships straight to China. There was "consensus" that Hitler did not pose a danger to the United States. And in late 2019 there was a 'consensus' that the W***n v***s did not pose a threat of a p******c. That was followed by a "consensus" that masks were a waste of time. Don't trust your health to ANY scientific "consensus". They are, at the very best, speculative guesses when most of the evidence has not yet been gathered or evaluated.

You should learn to think for yourself rather than let others do it for you.

Sorry, Michael. Rose has a valid point. You say her ignorance astounds you, but you do not explain why it does so.
What astounds ME is you tendency to produce sweeping sef-righteous statements with little or nor support, except your own opinion. Your tendency to want to impose YOUR choices on everybody else, and anyone who does not agree with you is forthwith castigated.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions. You should be a little more circumspect about attacking others for disagreeing with you. Of course, that is just MY opinion.

Most masks available to the general public are useless ! The freebees given out at entrance doors at stores and hospitals are the ones I speak of !

Self righteous indignation, From the start of this p******c I've done what the specialists said. Wore a mask, distanced myself from everyone, shopped on line and avoided crowds. I didn't like it but I did it because it was the responsible thing to do. Then some asshole walked into my wife work place and coughed on her, he tested positive, she got the v***s then I got the v***s and it almost k**led me. The self righteous guy was the one who refused to do something as simple as wearing a mask and keeping his distance. NOT HARD AT ALL. This country almost had this v***s beat but the self righteous i***ts who won't take a shot has allowed the variant to come back with a fury. Now I don't wish what I had on anyone and I also don't care if people who won't do the simple things to avoid this v***s get it and die from. Just a few less i***ts running around.

You better let your Tx Dems know that spreading C***d all over DC wasn't a nice thing to do. Oh they were v******ted you say>well how the hell did that happen. We were told by our illustrious leaders on the left, that break through cases happened within first 14 days. Does that mean that these Democrats had the audacity to wait up until two weeks ago to get v******ted, did they lie about getting v******ted, does the v*****e not work, is our Government full of s**t and instead of saying "we don't know" they feed us a different mix of crap according to the circumstance. What's the message this week "Republican=bad, Democrat-liar!"

I'm sorry for your illness, and I see your point. Do you see mine? Half the country has now been injected with a new kind of medical technology that has only been in use for less than a year. NO ONE can know what the long term affects on the human body are going to be. The medical specialists have changed their minds, back and forth, about masks, social distancing, individual immunization, herd immunization, and every other aspect of this v***s because THEY DO NOT KNOW! All they can do is make educated guesses. It is a judgment call concerning benefits versus risks. There are dozens of top medical experts that warn AGAINST taking the jab if a person is younger and health.
You are blaming folks who make a different decision from you for your illness. Why didn't your wife, upon being coughed on, immediately scrub down and burn her cloths? Why didn't her mask and proper hand sanitizing protect her? Why weren't YOU social distancing from HER? You see? You both engaged in risky behavior because it is ALL about benefits versus risk.
So. You should probably take a long look in the mirror and ask who is being self righteous.
I'm sorry for your illness, and I see your point. ... (show quote)
