I've been posting on OPP for a few years now. I still don't understand how anybody can be so numb as the Republicans that post here. I have asked many, many people why they like Trump, and have never gotten an answer. I guess some of the Trumpers just h**e the Democratic Party. They believe that Democrats are some kind of Marxists. That is just untrue. Others, love Trump. Why? I have no idea. They believe everything that this terrible person says. There is nothing that passes his lips that in any way resembles the t***h. The third reason is that some of the Trump people are r****ts, anti Semites, and violent crazies, like the people that tried to overturn the e******n through every unconstitutional method they could think of. Believe it or not, they call themselves patriots! After staging a s*******s i**********n in the US Capitol building, and threatening the lives of elected officials. They even called for the death of the Republican Vive President and the Democratic Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Other Republicans are small business owners, and don't like to pay a living wage to workers and still others would v**e for any Republican no matter what! I'm sure I missed a few other reasons, but it hardly matters. The simple t***h is that the Republican Party is now the party of Donald Trump. He is easily the worst President of my lifetime, and probably the worst in our history. It is for this reason that I no longer feel that I have anything to gain by posting the obvious t***h about Trump. I will continue to post on OPP, but not as much as I have in the past.
Hillary was right, members of the Trump cult are incouragables.

It's easy to understand; people who felt helpless, hopeless and miserable, liked the idea of an ill mannered, clueless, egotistical, used care salesman - barnstorming across the Nation setting fires everywhere he went. In a nut shell, trump gave some people who's lives turned out not as they'd hoped, targets to blame, relieving themselves of that responsibility - the rest just wanted fingers pointed somewhere else.

Never asked me!. I v**e Trump because he is Not a Politician. I believe he cares about America. With all his flaws, he is a kind and generous man. You would know this if you looked at his history pre politics. But he didn't make a big deal out of paying off someone's mortgage, or providing a medical flight for some young boy. He's been called a r****t but if you look at all his pre-politic events, you will find them filled with people of every race. Trump tried to complete his promises but the Dems fought him all the way, I love his tenacity. AND, have you asked yourself why the democrats loved Trump, went to all his galas, personal events, interviewed him and swanned over him till he got involved in politics?

So Sisyphus you finally learned that doing or saying the same things and getting the same reaction is insanity! I have always pitied the man who assumes he knows the hearts and mind of human kind.

Good luck with your resolution. How long do you think you can hold out? A Jewish friend told me a story, if you will indulge me I will share it. There was a boy born into middle class. His mother was loving and kind, although she had no courage to stand up to his father. His father was the worst of parents. Beating his child and no matter how hard the boy tried, his efforts never garnered approval. His mother died and although the boy knew he should cry, he could not mourn her death. Years later his father died. The boy could not stop crying. The meaning, when you focus all your energy and your life in hating an individual or group from dawn to dusk, when you finally realize hating is a nonproductive effort, it leave an unfillable hole in your life.

I v**ed for him because I liked his policies. I still like them and in 3 years they were starting to work well.Then in comes the China v***s.It wouldn't have mattered who was president we would have had the same results.As confirmed all across the world. Nobody knew what to do it was a guessing game.

micro, He is not a kind and/or generous man. Kind people do not display behaviors like separating children from their families, and put in cages. There are many other things I could point out. Every four star general that was a part of the military structure of Trump's administration had terrible things to say about him. The head of the Joint Chiefs of staff, General Milley says openly that he was afraid that Trump would attack another another country, like Iran before he left office. Marine Corps General Mattis said that Trump was the most imperfect man he ever met.

Simple, I'm an old man now, and I never felt this way about a US President before. I respect many conservative Republicans. I doubt if I agree with Congresswoman Chaney on anything at all, but she has earned my respect. I was considering v****g for Senator McCain for a while. Many more. I have v**ed for local Republicans from time to time.
Three of my cousins were p**********l advisors to both Bushes, and President Reagan. One cousin is a " king maker " in the New York Republican Party. Another cousin is a corporate lawyer that married the judge that took Kavanau's place in the federal courts . I don't h**e Republicans. I don't claim to understand why people are attracted to Trump.

That would mean that Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden also fall in the category of unkind. In fact, almost every modern day presidents separated kids from their adult traveling companions. The most famous of them was Roosevelt who put Japanese Americans in concentration camps in the western interior of the country. Stripped them of their businesses, personal property and liberty. BTW, he was a democrat! Obama and Bush housed their illegal 'children' in dog pens. And speaking of those 'generals' well if they plan a life after biden, they will opt for self preservation, follow orders, and read their biden approved scripts.. Honestly, I'd rather be led by an imperfect man who did his best than your perfect man who can't complete a sentence and now has us on the cusp of war with China and Russia.

Kind and generous men don't take money from charities they run to help children hospitals or s**m people with a f**e university both of which he payed big money to settle in court. He's a scumbag with lots of money.
