I know that many here won't like that title but if you read the link here you may realize why it is workable. Who has more supposed gun control than Chicago and who loses the most kids to shootings every weekend? It does seem to me that the Dem politicians of the city have sold the same can of worms to the v**ers with promises to do the same thing but better for some time.

The DNC has been for gun control ever since the KKK asked the DNC to disarm the KKK's victims. Now Democrats realize it is even easier to let black people k**l each other than it is to help the KKK k**l them. So the Democrats have to be careful who has the guns and those who are willing to k**l minorities are OK with them.

probably correct . But remeber-it was the Republicans who openede the cocaine pipline and is t cocoaine that they k**l each other over! Reagn even admitted it bakc about 1986 .In his sort of aw-shucks manner-"it wasn't that much cocaine. Just a few C5A loads when we were a little short of money for the Contras." waht do you think would happen to YOU if you told a Federal judge-"it wasn't that much cocaine, just 50 tons or so, when i was short of money for my favorite terrorist group"???
You ever wonder whether the Dems and Repubs are in cahoots to F*** us over, and just *pretend* to be rivals? Sort of like pro wrestling? They are both big-government parties and niether will lay a finger on Wall Street-or Israel.

I think it is establishment people in both parties who play the game together. There are some, especially in the House who just don't play with the establishment. Not many, but some.

I agree with almost all that has been stated thus far... Something happens to politicians when they get to "D.C.", I don't know if it's the water or something in the air, but they seem to forget who sent them there and why, Will Rogers was talking about this very thing back in the '20's & '30's, so I'm guessing this problem has been around for sometime... Anyway, why I'm writing is I was born in Oakland, CA some 71 years ago and the city I remember as a kid doesn't even look like it's from the same Planet... I Clipped this from one of those web pages, try it on for size and then remember, Welfare breeds contempt and hatred!

The Black Panther Party was founded by students Huey Newton and Bobby Seale at Merritt College (They were "gangsters"... D.D.). During the 1970s, Oakland began to experience serious problems with gang-controlled dealing of heroin and cocaine when drug kingpin Felix Mitchell created the nation's first large-scale operation of this kind. Both violent crime and property crime increased during this period, and Oakland's murder rate rose to twice that of San Francisco or New York City.[34]

As in many other American cities during the 1980s, crack cocaine became a serious problem in Oakland. Drug dealing in general, and the dealing of crack cocaine in particular, resulted in elevated rates of violent crime, causing Oakland to consistently be listed as one of America's most crime-ridden cities. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Oakland's black population reached its peak at approximately 47% of the overall population.

So, any city with a large minority population, living on Welfare is more than likely going to be violent...

Look at Detroit as was mentioned, Harlem & Surrounding neighborhoods, St. Lewis & East St. Lewis, Los Angeles, so there you go crime, drugs, welfare and hatred of "Whitey"...

Welcome to the Progressives America... Don D.

This place is full of people who won't agree with you either because you attached welfare to black people or you mentioned illegal drugs and black neighborhoods. They won't really care about your race because they will call you r****t for reporting what the city of Oakland became.

I am with you and know of so many other examples of what you said here. Thanks for getting into the thread.

Being new to this type of messaging, I have no idea what the "RULES" are... Like how long is to long a message, what is "tabo" and such... So a little advice would be good, thanks... I really don't want to intentionally step on anyones toes, I do by accident enough... Don D.

no BS from the press

You are really ignorant. The people who control our government USE BOTH THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT to get what they want. For a long time it was supporting the police and a police state, because CONSERVATIVES were so quick to destroy the left. Now LIBERALS are being used to destroy the right to own firearms. WHY IS EVERYONE SO STUPID?? STOP BEING USED This is not a DEM/REP problem, this is a stupidity problem. If you keep attacking DEMS you won't be able to stop the true enemies of the USA. We need BOTH THE RIGHT AND LEFT to combat the evil that is a parasite on this country

Someone who uses pelosi in his screen name is just a wee bit suspect to me. I agree with what he said, mostly, but I still think I detect too much possible left lean in his post and it was only his third post.
