"A newly released email from Maricopa County E******ns Assistant Director Kelly Dixon confirms the Sharpiegate scandal.
We learned on Wednesday that the Arizona audit discovered b****ts were printed incorrectly and on thin paper stock that allows for ink bleed-throughs."
In an email dated October 22, 2020, Dixon writes to notify e******n clerks that they must issue ballpoint pens every day prior to E******n Day.
"Next, we’ve heard you and we know youre hearing issues and concerns about the Sharpie Markers. Starting tomorrow, 10/23 and through 11/2m we are asking that Clerks hand v**ers BALLPOINT PENS rather than markers. We NEED to use Markers on E******n Day, but for now and through 11/2, hand v**ers a Ballpoint Pen. You have plenty of pens in your supplies right now."
