I don't take anything at face value... I don't trust my memory for facts and information. The internet is a great resource center but care has to be taken and sometimes numerous fact checking against opposing stances needs to be done the old fashion way. I don't trust the Left Leaning Fact Checking sites.
Those that use them and trust in them are "only seeing what they want to see".
I too take the time to try and get it right the first time. I will admit when I make a mistake and learn from it... but over all I got A's in my Logic Classes, so I know how to present arguments that are almost always mathematically, correct... It's certainly is easier to win an argument having your facts correct instead of ending up with "Foot and Mouth Disease"
