I propose that every road named MLK _________, be changed to G Floyd _________. To hell with judging a person by the content of their character, judge them by color.

That statement is r****t to everybody.
Instead, name every road or place for the police officers that lost their lives protecting us from scumbag criminals.

How is it ridiculous? Renaming things cynically named after defeated enemies of our nation and oppressors of people of color and renaming them for those who were oppressed corrects a whitewashed false historical narrative, burying the myth of the lost cause. As far as honoring Mr. Floyd, you are correct in noting that he really did nothing heroic. His filmed murder however brought to the worlds attention the impact of police brutality and institutional r****m on minority communities. People who lose their lives to evil are often honored with memorials such as that for the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing. This is not because of their actions, but rather to recognize their loss due to that evil and to remind us to do our best to right the wrongs in our society.

A lot of road signs would again be named for white people. I'm all for it. In fact I myself was a victim of the r****t Affirmative Action and was denied a government job although I had superior test scores over several black applicants. I want a statue in D.C erected for me!!! A DrGino statue would make me proud.

People who mope around alleging that they are victims of r****m need to get off their butts and pursue some happiness. They do not get medals or other honors for failing in life. The fact that we know quite a few successful black folks clearly demonstrates that if you make consistently good decisions, you can do well.
