No, I do not think so, the violation of the front Lic. plate was not debatable..

For what it's worth, around 1974, I was stopped three times in one day. I am white, I had GA tags on my new Monte Carlo. I was travelling alone in NW Arkansas area.

I would agree. While the driver may claim he was pulled over for DWB, the evidence does not appear to be on his side. He also appears to have bigger problems coming than paying a ticket.

While I agree that punishment might be in order (let's wait and see what the outcome is), calling it liberal behavior is just gratuitous. There are plenty of conservative dead beat dads and folks who try to beat the traffic police, and plenty of liberals who don't engage in that type of behavior.

I did address the initial stop... it was for having no plate on the front of the car.. you must have that in Minnesota..
It was nothing but a stop for a violation. Not for driving black..

I do not know a great deal about that.. the child support has been dealt with. I do not know just when.. It had nothing to do with original stop..
The wisc lic and the possible residence problem may affect the legality of his political role..
And yet one more problem to be settled... the child support problem got his Minn licence suspended, that was why he had a wisc lic.. so seems to me a conundrum for him on that issue.. we have to be talking a fair amount of time for all that to have happened.. Report was that he had renewed the wisc Lic more then once.. that would indicate some time while he was doing all this..
And nailed only because of the front plate missing..

How many times must I say it.. I do not think he was stopped a/c of racial profiling..
One of only a few legitimate stops when driving black.. the often k**led drivers with busted tail lights are a differnt matter.. one shot 7 times on camera and the cop walked.. but resigned I think..
Interesting book "city of stones" about Mpls cops and r****m.. based 1950. not real good but very interesting to me as I was familiar with most of the locations and named hoodlums' who were all real..
the book itself is fiction..
