Just a piece of pottery. But a rare one, of the transition period from the Philistines to the Hebrews.

Thanks, Peewee, I hadn't seen this.

..."Just a piece of pottery" bearing the name of Gideon!

According to the explanation accompanying the video - "Yet another incredible archaeological discovery in the Holy Land. Israeli archaeologists announced this week that they have uncovered a 3,100-year-old inscription from the time of the Bible's Book of Judges that appears to bear the name of the Old Testament hero, Gideon."

Truly, verification of the truth of God's word (for those who have eyes to see) will never end, as long as the earth remains.

Your welcome! They have also found the lost city of Cleopatra and Mark Anthony. From what I've read it was built on soft soil. Then the hypothesis is an earthquake or tidal wave liquified the soil and it sunk. I think it's on the east side of the Nile's delta mouth. There has been a glut of discoveries lately.

Trump is supposed to have taken the Vatican's library and gold. Over 130 plane loads. If so, the books and maps they had are being released a lot faster than the Dead Sea scrolls were. Fewer fragments I guess.

The Vatican as we both know kept too many secrets. They never revealed the third secret of Fatima either, as they promised to do. If true, it may change or update us on a lot of ancient books, history, maps, medicine, and religion. This info is beginning to come out, fast and furious. And the two things seem to fit, to me anyway.

I'm already a slow learner and I think I'm about to be left behind again. They found a pyramid thought to be that of Joesph a few years back. It was where the land of Goshen is thought to have been. And the statue found had a coat of many colors belonging to an important high-ranking Egyptian official. Who lived with and had a home among the Hebrews. That only fits one person that I know of.

That's why I love history, especially ancient history. If those Romans messed with the Bible I'm going to be more than a little upset. I forget his name but a physician was doing cataract and brain surgery back them too. Part of his job was keeping gladiators able to fight. Found it, looked up Palin first but then I remembered it was Galen.
