Decades ago the main stream media had degenerated into a ratings focused venture whose purpose was not public service but rather to provide profits for shareholders. The way to keep the interest of the audience was to focus on danger and sex.

I stopped consuming the crap they were pushing. Now there is also a strong political overtone, a return to the 19th century.

Forums like OPP and Relevant Radio give me the best overall take on the news.

OMG 😳😂🤣😂 I think it was the fact that the media rhapsodized over and feted the Obamas every word and gesture and excoriated the Trumps. One of my favorites was talking about how elegant and accomplished Michelle was while dismissing Melania. And now that same media covers for the Bidens. And are just fine with the stumbling, bumbling farce we have for a President, his sidekick Toe, who finds crises laughable, and the little wife who dresses like Elvira half the time and June Cleaver the other half (identity crisis much?)
