Looked up the epicenter. Just over the mountain that 395 loop to the southeast around south of Walker in the Antelope Valley. 5.5 miles down, which is not that deep. Just a few miles to the SW of the town as the crow flies. Went to the satellite view and found the fault.
Brought a bunch of big boulders down on 395.
I felt it and my ma's brother in Grass Valley CA called a few minutes later because he felt it.

It made a weird rumbling like a monster helicopter and shook the house. Made lights over the pool table swing

The fault looks like it's pretty long and at the south end...Craters of the Moon, Hot Creek, useta could swim there when I was a kid, too hot now, Mammoth and places where CO2 from the ground is k*****g trees. There's a hot spring just off the freeway south of Bishop too.
North of the fault hot springs in Bridgeport and Reno.
There's a geothermal power plant in the valley I live in. Two, in fact.
Just north of that is a place where the road is rising. They flatten it. After a little time you have tiny speed bump. Then it becomes a whoo-dee-doo. Then they flatten it again. Three times in the 5 years I've been here.
There's a fault right through the deepest part of Lake Tahoe. It shakes regularly.
The hot spot goes as far east as Mina...they've been having shakers out there too. Not big but more often than usual.
It pays to be aware of one's surroundings.

So did I, but for other reasons. I heard Greece had one and now has some saltwater springs in the area. The earthquakes seem to be slowing down but not quite over yet. Glad you're all okay.
