Anti-American, anti-democratic constitutional republic "patriots”, believing they truly love their country while espousing hatred, committing violence and supporting autocracy, make no sense. Many of our friends, neighbors and family members have been sucked into an alternate reality where up is down, the sky is green and the ground is blue, lies are t***h and t***h is a lie.

True believers are adamant that they are absolutely right and everyone else is misinformed, leaving no room for discussion or debate. No amount of fact checking or research on anyone's part will change their beliefs. They only believe their “news” source whether radio, TV or internet. Their sources are not vetted for credentials, funding or motivation. People are believing things said by someone who only wants to make tons of money or who wants to manipulate v**ers into v****g against their own best interests.

Has America ever been divided by lies like this before? I’ve been trying to understand this division for nearly four years now and I’m feeling hopeless. Will it end in the destruction of our nation or will we be able to ride it out as the pendulum of change swings back? One feels helpless in convincing true believers just how dangerous the lies they believe are to our country.

The true believers do not want to wear masks or get the v*****e. so they may self destruct before their is the civil war they are clamoring for. There is anger and distrust that fuels these conspiracy theories, and that may be the result of corporations running our government for so long. Low wages, expensive health care, and corruption have turned many people to become bitter. Right wing media also has convinced their viewers that our troubles are the fault of the poor. How does ending the p******c unemployment benefits early help our citizens? It does make the blue collar worker feel better that others are not getting help. We are not a united states any longer.

A fully disruptive source of mayhem and chaos.
While most just want to watch the game and relax, there is this element that prevents this from happening.
