I say most of us fit into what I call the heart & soul of life as we know it.

Going out every day & doing things that need to be done & doing things well for a fair & reasonable value.

The real reason this country is still here & will last is because of people like us.

We are what has been called the silent majority. We may lean Left or we may lean Right. But as a group we stand straight.

We must stand together

We go about doing what needs to be done asking only for fair value for what we do.

It is our voices that need to be heard over others.

Unfortunately, we the silent majority, can't BE heard over the shouting of the rest. It seems that folks are convinced that the loudest voices, will be perceived as the best. I find it amusing that politicians, in particular, don't realize that all their shouting has caused people to tune them out, except for their followers of course. The advertising agencies aren't going to tell them either, that would be bad for business.

It is also a tragedy that there has been so MUCH shouting, that people are basically deaf - to reason or logic. We are deaf to each other, but pretend otherwise. In the end, the mouths will continue flapping - long after the ears no longer work.

There is just a feeling about problems that are happening in the world.

A feeling that things are not going as well as they could.

There is a great divide in what & where the problems stem from.

I for one along with some others feel that all of us are in this together.

The feeling that most of us are much more alike in our basic needs & wants.

The feeling that the basic well being of each is important to all of us.

A feeling that every one needs a chance to survive the rising waters that are sinking them.

The feeling that after awhile we have enough & can leave some on the table for others.

The feeling that others security is important to our security.

The feeling that all should be rewarded for what they add to the system.

The feeling that as the gap in wealth widens the problems increase for most.

This is part of what I as a Liberal person feel.

Although I am not a Liberal or a Conservative, I agree with your statements. I feel the two party system is k*****g this country. Both parties are so corrupt, it is impossible for me to trust either one.

In this America it is very difficult to operate a business with any degree of integrity.
