Someone pays them to. For instance; over 70% of republicans believe biden s***e the e******n - whereas - a majority of Americans legally elected biden. It doesn't take a PhD to know in advance who will fall into what category, and how to solicit money from them.

you are right. I'm sure they make money by doing it. It just annoys me because the answers are going to be skewed according to what publication it is. It gives a false impression and reinforces the bias already in the minds of their readers. It's bad enough that most of us, myself included, read or watch only the things that agree with what we already believe.
I get even more annoyed when I'm asked to give an opinion about something that only in expert in that field would be able to talk about.
