What does having a Democratic city council have to do with this shooting? It has nothing more to do with it than having a Republican governor. If anything, the Democrats would likely want tighter gun control. You have been so brainwashed by the propaganda machine, FAUX Noise, that if anything bad happens, it must be the Democrats fault.

The governor is not responsible for local law enforcement. Greater gun control does not stop gun violence. Look at large Democrat controlled cities with strick gun laws. Watch something besides ELWNJ media.

The gun rights advocates always claim they need a gun to protect themselves and their family but no one ever shoots back at these nut jobs that do these mass shootings. Why?

Not a responsible gun owner, they follow the local laws. It's criminals that don't follow the law. Cities have the responsibility to protect their citizens, defunding the police isn't the answer.
