OK, assuming all this is true, it does not take into account the much larger number of tax payers in the populous "blue" states. It is simply comparing the 'average' state tax payer to the 'average' return, per person, to the particular state from the federal government. It is a very veeeeeerrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy long stretch to use such figures to claim that blue states are "subsidizing" red states. Any one who knows statistics knows how flawed such comparisons are, and how easily they can be made to justify almost any claim. Especially when you take into account that the nation's tax payers are repeatedly bailing out the deficit spending blue states.

Here in Texas, too. We also support our LEOs.
Bear in mind, though, that certain areas of Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and sometimes Dallas, are not always considered parts of Texas. Austin, especially, likes to think of itself as "cultured".

Lord Jesus has already said that He would stop it just before all humanity is erased from the earth. You can read it for yourself in the book of Matthew chapter 24.

Mankind is so sinful and it seems to be intensifying nowadays as religion is replaced by secularism, sexual perversion, and l*****t social justice warrioring. Look how sinful our political leaders have become. Few stand up for righteousness, Godliness or any t***hfulness. They can't even condemn infanticide, that is how sick society has become.

Yes he did, Rose. And, still he remains a far better man than many...if not most, of his detractors.

IMO, Combat Veterans such as Permafrost have especially well-earned rights to express their ideological/political opinions. Yet, being a VietNam Combat Marine myself, one should realize that we are not a monolithic group. That being said, I (along with many) stand with Frostie on numerous issues. Simultaneously, I/we should respect those Veterans who stand opposed on the same issues. Diversity within the law is part of what makes America exceptionally great

Not wisdom, common sense. It would be an honor to meet all you vets.

Have a happy Father’s Day!

Thanks for the Father's Day wishes, Rose

Sadly, to borrow by paraphrasing Admiral Chester Nimitz's notably famous quote regarding the Marines on Iwo Jima..."From many posters on OPP, common sense ofttimes seems an uncommon virtue."

Yet, having met several already, I would be honored to meet any/all Vets who contribute to OPP.
