Bad Booby cannot read anything but headlines. The article is deceptive. Bloomberg had another article last week about the huge numbers dropping out of the labor pool, not looking for employment.
The labor participation rate is going to continue to go down since older workers are having to retire & we have 3 generations in which barely 50% are employable.
In two years jobs will start drying up as the multinationals start moving out. The only industries that can afford to stay here will be highly automated w/ few employees & 400-500% gross profit margins.
There is a large multinational here that started automating during the C***d restrictions. It lays off 15 operators for each automated line in puts in. Their current workforce is almost 400. Their goal is 100 by the end of 2022.
