The best way to get people back to work is to stop paying them not to work.

Another way would be to offer to pay them wages greater than what they are getting on welfare. $600/week is just $15/hr.

How about getting them to get off their lazy butt and support their families! Work two jobs then!

So, you're in favor of stopping all payments to Congress?

Working two jobs is already a necessity for many low-paid workers to support their families.

yes, that's true. I had to do it when I became a single mother and wasn't getting child support. I worked 2 jobs as a server in Restaurant industry. My degree in Human Services didn't do me much good since I didn't speak Spanish.
My kids are hard workers today but neither one has to work two jobs. Taught them to live in the day but plan for tomorrow, that's what they did. You don't learn that on Welfare and me and my kids didn't die because I worked outside the home and we were poor. We have integrity developed from "doing it" not getting it.

If you are an adult and all you can get is $15 an hour you have made poor choices. Take responsibility for your self.

Only the Democrats who are trying to destroy America.

So how many do you plan to hire for $20.00 or $30.00 per hour?

So how many do you plan to hire to work for you for $30.00 per hour to fix the problem?

There are a lot of us that came from very poor families, but got by and learned to earn a living is the honorable way to go!

Perhaps the federal mandate to raise the minimum wage will not be needed. The "market-by-market" approach will make it happen. McDonald's executives realize that in a "very tight labor market" attracting good workers by offering increased wages and benefits will drive continued growth for their business. Increasing worker's pay and benefits might be one of the happy outcomes from the c****av***s p******c.
