I have been a reader, lurker, and contributor on this board. I see controversial or debatable topics posted with conservatives grouping in one corner and liberals grouping in the opposite corner. At the end of the day, what the hell does all this mean?
In attempting to understand our present world, and the various political factions shaping our landscape, I have searched high and low to discover the wizard behind the curtain. Many individuals think that our President controls many political aspects in our country; that is far from the t***h. Our President receives instructions from the wizards behind the curtain and is but an empty suit or Manchurian Candidate. The many speeches given, Executive Orders drafted, or policy decisions do not come from him; again, the wizards behind the curtain present him with an objective and he implements their orders.
The Trilateral Commission is one of the main wizards behind the curtain, with main players including Zbigniew Brzezinski, Joseph S. Nye, Jr., David Rockefeller, Paul Volcker, Jean-Claude Trichet, & Richard N. Haass. The Trilateral Commission is comprised of very influential members representing North America, Asia, and Europe with a main focus, according to their website, of:
“The Commission was originally created in 1973 to bring together experienced leaders within the private sector to discus to bring together experienced leaders within the private sector to discuss issues of global concern at a time when communication and cooperation between Europe, North America, and Asia were lacking. The Commission has grown since its early days to include members from more countries in these regions, and it continues to find that study and dialogue about the pressing problems facing our planet remain as important today as in 1973. Problems and threats have changed, but their importance has only increased due to the more interconnected and interdependent world in which we now live."
