Tom,

In Chapter 3 of Genesis, Satan, in the guise of a serpent, did not speak of progressive revelation.

He introduced deceptive, devious manipulation of God's words.

Sorrowfully, this is the one aspect recorded in Scripture that your word's perfectly encapsulate.

You don’t seem to have acknowledged my complete statement, which was, “‘progressive revelation’ –>type<– of ‘interpretation’ of God's foremost commandment.”

“Progressive revelation means that God did not unfold His entire plan to humanity in the Book of Genesis or, for that matter, in the entire Old Testament.” https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don_stewart/don_stewart_1203.cfm

What the serpent clearly did was to imply that God had not “unfolded” His entire “plan” regarding the first commandment.

That is “precisely” the “type of interpreting” that you Trinitarians do with God’s first commandment in the New Testament. The serpent altered God’s first commandment, that is, he made it “different” by suggesting, proposing, and advancing an interpretation that God Himself never articulated, but which is contradicted by what God clearly said. The Trinitarians do with the first commandment in importance, exactly what the serpent did with God’s first chronological commandment: they “transform”{change in condition, nature or character} it to “mean” something that God never said, but which contradicts what God’s word (in this case out of the mouth of Jesus, God’s primary spokesman to mankind) in the Bible explicitly states.

God’s “commandment” is not a “plan”, rather, it is an imperative. Being a “commandment” means it is ‘unavoidable’”, and “something that demands attention or action; an unavoidable obligation or requirement; necessity” (dictionary.com)

The fact that you refuse to deal with it as a clear and explicitly stated imperative as just defined, is what makes all the difference in the world. The serpent certainly didn’t represent God’s commandment then to be “an unavoidable obligation” any more than Trinitarians feel the first commandment as articulated by Jesus is “an unavoidable obligation”

28One of the scribes... asked him, "Which commandment {“ unavoidable obligation”} is foremost of all?" 29 Jesus answered, "The greatest {“ unavoidable obligation”} is, 'Hear, Israel, the Lord our God (singular), the Lord (singular) is one (singular):[/color] 30you shall love the Lord (singular) your God (singular) with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment {“ unavoidable obligation”} .... 32The scribe said to him, "Truly, teacher, you have said well that he (singular) is one (singular), and there is none other but he (singular), 33and to love him (singular) with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." 34When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” Mark 12:28-34

Really, Zemirah, do you think that the Bible was so carelessly written that it took four hundred years and the imposition of the Roman Empire to get it’s expression and terminology straight? “Come on, man”.

Show me one place where I have deceptively and deviously manipulated God’s first commandment to make it out to mean something completely contrary to what it clearly states.

How is pointing out the grammar of the original Greek in this passage being “deceptive,” “devious” or a “manipulation of God's words”?

Wouldn’t the denial of the plain meaning, and changing it to mean something else in order to advocate an extrabiblical agenda, be the actual culprit you are talking about?

“27It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice, and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!" 28But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it." Luke 11:28

Tom,

I have no further interest in your confrontational accusations or your willful misunderstanding/misinterpretation of Scripture, which has been repeatedly pointed out by devout Biblically astute Christians on this forum, who are submitted to Jesus Christ, and guided by the Holy Spirit.

By refusing, rejecting and railing against the Triune One true God, as you belittle the living faith of all the orthodox Christians of the last two thousand years, at a time when Biblical end-time prophesies are now being fulfilled before our eyes daily, you make of yourself a spectacle, a hindrance and a diversion to those intent on seeking God's truth.

IMHO, your red, green and blue alternate gospel, which you have repeatedly spread across multiple pages, although colorful, is without spiritual value, and is no gospel at all.
