Sorry, no “assault rifle” on this one. However, there were lots of red f**gs on the shooter but no one said anything. There are laws on the books preventing mentally disturbed people from buying and/or owning firearms but it doesn’t work because of Hippa and silence.

Gun laws will NOT solve this problem. There are 3 times ( and estimate, since there's no way to know ) more guns on the street than there are citizens, and it simply isn't possible to know where all of them are or in who's possession.

We have a VIOLENCE problem, not a TOOL problem.

Then we're just going to continue to see a rise in deaths since violence is escalating. It's already proven were laws are stricter in other civilized countries and states there is less gun deaths and injuries. as for the violence we keep feeding that beast everyday on gaming and the screen, feeding the delusion that with this "tool" I have power", fear me.

When you look at the chart you'll see the states in the NE with strict guns laws, with the exception of Hawaii, not being NE, have the least amount of gun violence per-capita (according to population.)

Why are you sorry? Do you honestly believe assault rifles are getting a bad rap? Keeping guns away from criminals is one thing, keeping them away from people with a medical history is another, but we can't keep them out of the hands of undeclared mentally sick people can we.

What it comes down to is the sanctity of life has to go deeper in the conscious mind of our society as a whole, and violence solves nothing. And our infatuation with the gun has to end.
