Republicans are afraid to openly speak out against trump, radical supporters are making their presence known in ways that are meant to be scary. Republicans who have been hard right trumpiest of trump supporters find themselves being harassed and threatened, with protests with often armed people yelling and screaming threats, scaring these t*****rs and their families. Yelling rhetorical threats such as hang him, off with heads, t*****r, etc is no joke and it needs to be treated like the terrorism it is. This crap has nothing to do with free speech, it is intended to intimidate even their own politicians from speaking out against trump.
And no, dems are not the ones violently acting out and threatening those they do not agree with, take Manchin for instance, he is not experiencing left wing threats even though he is derailing the democrat agenda.
