How is cancer chaos? How about unwanted babies, chaos too?
chaos means there is no control, no purpose, nothing good comes from it. Like a r**t. Cancer is chaos that just keeps invading, like a r**t that grows and gets worse.
There is no such thing as an unwanted baby. Someone may not want the child, but millions do. And God loves and wants all of us. 👶💞👶🏾💞
Good questions Bad Bob!

I think you have chosen the wrong word for your description of cancer. Cancer is preventable, treatable and a lot are curable like unwanted babies. I'm sure you have seen the good work of St. Jude on TV.
Could you please post the Catholic tenet for their opposition of birth control?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birth_control_in_the_United_StatesGod bless the researchers, doctors, and those afflicted with cancer, and their families and loved ones, who have made and continue to make great strides in the prevention and treatment of this scourge.
As little as I watch TV, it's surprising that I have seen commercials for St. Jude Children's Research Hospitals. I will make a cash donation to them, anonymously but with a prayer intention that it comes from you Bad Bob! Saint Jude thanks you!
And I thank you for the down to earth, unbiased article on birth control that you posted. The last paragraph reinforces my impression that less than 10% of even the most devout Catholics consider contraception to be a sin.
Sorry I cannot provide a link to the Catholic teaching on contraception. I don't have a computer, only a smart phone. But I can say that the most current instruction, from Pope John Paul II in 1968, Humanae Vitae, is that artificial contraception is intrinsically evil because it thwarts God's procreative work, it degrades the couple's mutual self-giving and diminishes true love.
Personally I agree that it does all these things but it's a matter of degree. On a scale of 1 to 1000 I would give all those concerns a 1 and great sex with or without contraceptives a 999!
But I am very opposed to premarital or extramarital intercourse.
Thanks BB! Good article. Unbiased, well written, accurate.

If you lived in Utah, would you have a problem if coffee, tea and coke cola was banned because it's against Mormon tenets?

Oh I see your point. Religious beliefs intruding into the secular world and affecting people that are not of that religion. No, that's not fair at all.
So are you saying that the Catholic Church's teaching on birth control is somehow limiting the availability or suppressing the use of birth control?
Until I read the link you posted about the a******n pill I would have said that the church has almost no influence on the use of birth control, even though teaching is against it.
However when it comes to the a******n pill, I realize now there are impediments to its use. But these impediments are not caused by religion, they are caused by medical rules i.e. doctor visitation. The article you posted is about easing the restrictions for getting these a******n pills. I really don't have a huge problem with that, as I said in my original answer. It's better than a dreadful a******n later on.
But as far as a******n itself, the objections many people have to it have nothing to do with religion. You don't have to be religious to realize that k*****g an innocent person is wrong.
If I lived in Utah and wanted to k**l someone, and the Mormons said it was a sin, it would be ridiculous to blame the Mormons for making murder illegal.

In law, a legal person is any person or 'thing' (less ambiguously, any legal entity) that can do the things a human person is usually able to do in law – such as enter into contracts, sue and be sued, own property, and so on. ... They are treated in law as if they were persons.

An unborn human being is considered to be a legal person.
Ha! Gotcha!
An unborn human being is not considered to be a natural person.
Oh crap...

Natural person
It's a legal term, like Legal Person.

https://legaldictionary.net/natural-person/The term “natural person” refers to a living human being, with certain rights and responsibilities under the law. By contrast, a “legal person,” or an “artificial person,” is a group of people that is considered by law to be acting as a single individual. Both natural and legal persons are entitled to sue other parties and sign contracts. They can also both be on the receiving end of a lawsuit. To explore this concept, consider the following natural person definition.
