Take a Stand on Israel, Joe.

Dear Mr. President

Please take a stand on the current violence in Israel. Americans are going to be infuriated no matter what you do, so you may as well.

It shouldn't be hard to figure out which side of this latest conflict in Israel to stand on. The current eruption of violence came after an elevated response to the legal battles over property rights in East Jerusalem. These legal battles are resulting in the eviction of Palestinian families from their homes so Jewish settlers can move in and take over.

As you probably know, this has been a long standing pattern. We often hear about the rockets of Gaza being the cause, but they are a symptom, not a cause. The cause is ethnic displacement. Israel has been evicting Palestinians from their homes in order to expand Jewish settlement since the UN recognized Israel as a sovereign state.

Wh**ever claims are made doesn't change this very simple fact... Palestinians are being evicted from their homes BECAUSE they are Palestinian. Jews are moving in BECAUSE they ARE Jewish. How is this right?

And now that Israel is bombing Gaza, which is effectively a locked up prison of Palestinian people that have nowhere to run, how could we even explain a pause in our action? Seriously, what is there to think about?

Is it because Israel is our ally? How is that fair to the Palestinians? They're not even allowed to be a state!

Besides, doing the right thing isn't going to put you on the wrong side of everyone in Israel. Just the Z*****ts, who are gradually losing control of Israel to a younger and more progressive generation. Netanyahu, who is under investigation for corruption, has failed now on several attempts to get a moral majority behind his government and now the opposition is making a bid for it.

And also note that fighting is breaking out between Israelis deep inside Israel proper! This is the civil clash that we're starting to see. Just like how many w***e A******ns are joining the B*M in standing up for b***k A******ns, many Jewish Israelis are standing up for Palestinians now.

Don't worry about losing the "Christian Conservatives" here... They didn't v**e for you anyway. You're doing a great job so far Mr. President... Please keep moving forward. Take a stand on the Z*****t actions of the Likud Party in Israel and let people know we support a peaceful future for Jews and Arabs alike.

There are only two ways for Israel to achieve the security they desire. The first is the two state solution with the abandonment of most settlements and repatriation of settlers within the 68 borders. The second is to grant everyone within the borders of Palestine full Israeli citizenship ending apartheid and creating an inclusive non theocratic nation.

I would call those the only two *civilized* options that anyone has been able to come up with so far. The Z*****ts are obviously not interested in either of them, nor have they ever been, which is why the violence continues.

I'm not sure how Biden's policy on Israel will shape up but I'm hoping he brings it back to where Obama left it, where we recognize Israel's right to exist without condoning t***sgressions against the Palestinian people.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the violence began just as Netanyahu was in danger of losing power, and that shortly afterwards, the danger to his hold on power disappeared.

I'm sure the heavy-handed thrashing in Gaza (Israeli for "tough on crime") is an effort to score points with the citizens. But much like the Republicans over here... they're aiming too far right. There is a rising of wokeness throughout the western world, including Israel. More people are taking the red pill and realizing mom and dad were wrong the whole time.

Netanyahu is still in danger of losing power. He's still under investigation for corruption and he still can't get a majority behind him. The Likud Party is NOT looking healthy.

I think there's a good chance that if the U.S. continues to allow the ethnic cleansing of the Levant, it will be the people in Israel itself that will ultimately stop it by standing up against z*****m and any affiliated government. Or just by putting a better, more humane government in its place.

U show ur rascist side- l*****t side by ur post! First of all hamas started the fight ( like bringing a knife to Israel’s sophisticated weaponry! Israel tried to get other country’s to notice or chime in so they would not have to kick Muslim as*! No one did so they retaliated! This land is theirs they only let the Palestinians use the Temple Mount to keep peace! Then those terrorists would not let the Israelites pray at their most holy of Holys! Which is par for the course for those scum! They want more land so they can be closer to annihilate the Jewish people! They are getting a beat down which they deserve! Of course you l*****ts take the terrorists side just like b*m and a****a! God is in control and will continue to fight for the Jewish people! Ya, wanna explain that one? I'd love to hear it.

Hamas was responding to Israeli oppression, so no - they did not start it. That's like blaming a women for fighting back against a rapist, the "she hit me" crap only works when you forget she was being raped.

And yes, when Davids are viciously oppressed by Goliaths the Davids WILL take a knife against the odds.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

Not all of it. the State of Israel itself, founded on terrorism and a capitulation by the UN to their demands, technically owns the land within (a constant reminder to all that terrorism DOES pay, sometimes). But the occupied territories do NOT belong to Israel. That's why it's called "occupied territory" It means they are forcefully occupying a place that isn't theirs.

There are rules about occupying territory in the Geneva Convention, that are meant to protect human rights but Israel is violating all of them.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

That wasn't Israel... That was the U.S. when under pressure from every other member of the UN, we said "OK, Israel - you need to stop there". The UN decided Jerusalem would be divided and managed out of respect for what Jerusalem means to several religions.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

What Israelites? The Israelites died off a long time ago. I think you're talking about the Israelis, which is not the same thing. Israelites were an ancient Semitic people who eventually lost their kingdoms of Israel and Judea and have since dispersed and t***sformed. Many of their descendants are Palestinians today.

Israelis are citizens of a country that was only established 80 year ago and are mostly Jewish immigrants from all over the world. Some of them have Semitic roots but most come from European stock and are in fact not Semitic at all.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

So this is an emotional issue for you.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

So, in other words, they want to do the same thing to the Jewish people that the Z*****t Jews have been doing to the Palestinians for almost a century now. Taking more land to annihilate the Palestinian people. Yes, Hamas does harbor that sentiment, but most Palestinians just want to be free to live their lives.

If Israel treated the Palestinian people like human beings, there would be no rockets.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

They are getting a beat down which they deserve!

They are getting beat down because their Goliath oppressors are supported by a big fat pipeline of money and weapons from the U.S.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

We stand up for human rights. You can call it wh**ever you want.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

God isn't doing the fighting, nor is it about the Jewish people. I've been to Israel and I know Jewish people who live there and they are NOT on your side. There is a growing number of younger Jews in Israel who are fed up with the violence and the BS perpetuated by the Z*****ts. This is in large part the reason why Israel's right-wing, pro-Z*****t government is losing control.

By far, the largest group of pro-Z*****t people in the world are the oblivious Christian Conservatives in America who have this i***t notion in their heads that we must k**l all the Muslims and get them out of Jerusalem so that Jesus can return at which point all the Jews will magically turn into Christians.

It's really the stupidest idea to ever sponsor such an oppressive regime.

Wonttakeitanymore wrote:

And if bribem takes sides against the Jewish people we will not only be in punishment, which we already are because of you l*****ts God will turn his back on us!

Telling Israel to stop slaughtering people is not taking sides against Jewish people. Jewish people themselves are telling Israel to stop. It's really just YOU people, the 700 Club people, the people who call themselves Christians that are perpetuating the inhumane occupation all because of some i***t scripture written a thousand years ago by a mushroom-tripping sage in some cave.

"Whoa - I was seriously tripping."
"Really? Did you eat those mushrooms?"
"Yeah, I had visions of Jesus returning from the heavens and all the Jews instantly became Christians, there were angles and demons and trumpets..."
"Wow, that sounds elaborate."
"Yeah, and all the good people started to rise into the air, like... just floated up into Heaven."
"Dang, dude.. you should write this stuff down."

If this happened today we might see a movie out of it. But there were no movies back then, so it became scripture instead. And today, that scripture is the reason why billions of dollars are funding one of the most oppressive and violent regimes in modern history... Israel, or to be more specific, the Z*****t Likud Party clinging to control over Israel.
