How does it hold for both parties? F*****m flourishes in moments of great anxiety because you can connect that anxiety with f**e loss. The story is typically that a once-great society has been destroyed by liberalism or feminism or cultural Marxism or wh**ever, and you make the dominant group feel angry and resentful about the loss of their status and power. Almost every manifestation of f*****m mirrors this general narrative.
It is clearly Republicans who are following this script and Trump's MAGA aim is to recapture American greatness that evil liberals destroyed. And like I said, we liberals are aware enough of the warts in our ideology to avoid them whereas Conservatives believe that they are totally and completely wart-free leaving them susceptible to the pitfalls of their ideology.

Just an observation. If you look at the history of the US without prejudice you should be able to see that both parties are guilty of all the things each of you accuse the others of. You are just grist in their mill. It is a carnival to keep you occupied while the Dems and Reps run the country. Be t***hful, what changes when the party supposedly in power changes?
