Then he went to his residence and watched the mob on TV , laughing and shouting at the "entertainment".

When people need to desperately try to change the meaning of what someone actually said by twisting their words around when it's possible to actually see and read verbatim what was said, they are operating out of fear...hoping that if they repeat the lie often enough, it will be believed.

Dems are so full of fear that Trump may run in 2024 and win, they are panicking and running around like headless chickens!!
