PANIC: Democrats Beg DOJ to Intervene in Maricopa Audit.
We have HUGE breaking news coming from the ground in Arizona.
The audit in Maricopa County is well underway and appears to be on schedule to be completed within a month.
Democrats have tried numerous times to stop the audit, but their efforts have fallen short.
They are now begging the Department of Justice to get involved. Geez, sounds like they are in fear of being found out!
That’s right: the same DOJ that apparently wants to investigate Rudy Giuliani, but not H****r B***n.
The same DOJ that is now headed by Merrick Garland, the Supreme Court nominee that Republicans refused to hold a nomination hearing for. A full-blown c****e.
We don’t know about you, but it appears as though there are numerous conflicts of interest here.
Judges have thoroughly rejected Democrats’ efforts to halt the Maricopa forensic audit.
Why?
Because the audit was ordered by the state Senate.
Remember, the Constitution of the United States expressly gives the state legislature the sole authority in running e******ns.
Since it was the Arizona Senate that authorized the forensic audit, it will be very difficult (if not legally impossible) to stop.
So … where does that leave Democrats? Crapping in there shorts it seems!
Turning to the DOJ, where Garland (who was spurned by the GOP) is in charge.
A CBS affiliate is the first to report this out of Maricopa:
A national, public interest law firm at the New York University School of Law is asking the Department of Justice to send federal observers to monitor Arizona’s audit of 2.1 million b****ts in Maricopa County.
The Brennan Center for Justice sent a letter to the DOJ Thursday morning, citing “concern that the auditors are engaged in ongoing and imminent violations of federal v****g and e******n laws.” The law group claims that the Arizona Senate and Cyber Ninjas, the firm hired by the Senate to conduct the audit, are, “violating their duty under federal law to retain and preserve b****ts cast in a federal e******n, which are and have been in danger of being stolen, defaced, or irretrievably damaged.” Total BS.
The letter references an Arizona’s Family investigation showcasing security lapses at Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, where the audit is being conducted. Arizona’s Family investigator Morgan Loew and his team were able to access and walk through the coliseum’s hallways, staircases and parts of the main floor for four consecutive days. At no point were Loew and his team asked to leave. Unlike e******n day when the dems made everyone leave!
The Brennan Center says the Arizona Senate and Cyber Ninjas failed to ensure security of the b****ts by, “keeping doors unlocked and allowing unauthorized persons to access the b****t storage facility.” The law firm is concerned about the integrity of the b****ts and if materials being used by Cyber Ninjas will cause the b****t paper and marks to deteriorate.
Another concern is that the Cyber Ninjas and Arizona Senate might engage in “unlawful v**er intimidation in violation of the V****g Rights Act and other federal laws.” This issue stems from Cyber Ninja’s procedure to deploy agents to “physically canvas” Maricopa County v**ers and “collect information” related to v**er history.
No matter what Democrats claim, the reality is that this audit is the most secure recount and audit in history.
There are over 9 cameras that are live streaming and recording the audit.
Furthermore, the entire center is under strict security, ensuring that only authorized personnel are inside.
Any attempts by Democrats to discredit the audit appear to be politically motivated, which is normal for them!
